Admission
Those wishing to apply for public funding will have an assessment undertaken by the Local Authroity, in some cases, admission can take place prior to the assessment being carried out, but admission can only be with their consent.
Alistre Lodge comprises of 2 houses which were converted into 1 large establishment in 2006. One which is a mock Tudor house built originally for family use which was converted to a Rest Home in 1983 designed to meet the needs of the Elderly. The other was a large house again originally designed for family use which was converted to a nursing home over 20 years ago. The home enjoys beautiful landscaped gardens and a unique pond teaming with Koi Carp and a water feature.
