The Third Generation. We are continuing to grow the business and Dan is the business's future. Dan is our youngest son, he is very hard working and Dan, like his mom Viv is very customer focussed. Outside of work Dan is Married to Hannah, they have two Sons Enzo and Ezra. His Irish Terrier called Rolo comes to work each day with Dan.
Our eldest Jamie, is a partner at our local Vets specialising in Surgery, he helps us with our Website. Jamie lives just a few hundred yards from UKAA. He lives with his wife Monica (also a Vet) their Son Angus and Dog Morag, Jamie brings a progressive forward thinking mind to UKAA.
The Office Manager. Becky is lovely we treat her like a daughter; she is the clever and the tidy one in the office. If you want any technical help she knows the lot!! Becky spends her time renovating her own home. She is interested in the latest fashions and she loves to go shopping in her little Fiat 500!
Angie is our newest member of the sales team at UKAA. She is very friendly and enjoys dealing face to face with our customers daily in our showroom. In Angie’s spare time she enjoys cooking and making her homemade wine!
Libby is our apprentice and is currently studying business admin. She is very helpful and the glamorous one of the office. In Libby’s spare time she will be found shopping normally at the makeup counter.
Conrad has been making furniture from his unit in reclaimed pine for us since the early eighties. For the last few years he has worked for us here on site at UKAA at least 3 days a week to help keep the lead times for bespoke furniture down to around two weeks.
Jack works on Saturday's making teas and coffees for the customers and keeping our staff refreshed. He also helps with maintaining and keeping our machinery clean and tidy, although he helps with getting them muddy to start with!
Alex is our Saturday helper, he is a confident well-mannered young man. Alex is currently in his first year at six form studying hard hoping to become an architect in the future. Not only is he fantastic with customers he is also a great help on the yard. In Alex’s spare time he can be found playing his xbox.
Emma is our part-time helper, who works in and around the office doing general jobs within the company. She is an extremely hard working and is currently in her first year of sixth form with a particular interest in design. Her hobbies include figure skating with any spare time spent training inside and outside the ice rink.
The 2nd Generation. Viv followed her dad Bob in to the Antiques business, she works 7 days and in her spare time she will be found with her two horses Glencoe and Star. Viv is very high maintenance - Andy should have taken some advice that he ignored - "never marry someone who wears horse boots". But Viv says "a happy wife is a happy life"
