Alistair has been active in the financial services industry since 1987 and specialises in Private Client work; managing the financial affairs and investment portfolios of a number of High Net Worth individuals and trustees. He has been involved in the design and development of institutional level tax and financial products, working in association with blue chip companies, including: Canada Life International, Goldman Sachs, and Barclays Global Investors.
In addition to the firm’s usual range of services, Alistair also has experience working with non-domiciled individuals and trusts, complex insurance solutions, onshore and offshore collective investment vehicles, offshore companies and other special purpose entities.

Ian joined the investment industry as one of the first to achieve a BA degree in Financial Services. After a grounding in the compliance area of a national company Ian moved into the IFA arena in 1999 joining a local firm where he and Alistair met. They have worked together ever since.
With a strong statistical and analytical background, Ian revels in the statistical side of the FP Wealth Management investment process and is the primary driver behind
FP Wealth Management’s proprietary quantitative fund selection engine.
Ian is a valued voice on the Investment Strategy Committee and has primary responsibility for our construction of portfolio models, especially those used by Associated Adviser Firms. In addition to the Diploma in Financial Planning, Ian holds the CII Level 4 Certificate in Discretionary Management.
