ABOUT CHURCH HOUSE JEWELLERY LIMITED

In 1988 Jeremy Heber left University and set up a bench in a friend’s living room. He called his company ‘Church House Jewellery’ as he had first started making jewellery whilst living in an annex of the Church Hall in the tiny town of Lampeter in West Wales where he was studying, of all things, English Literature.

Church House Jewellery is now based in Bristol in the South of England and supplies shops and galleries with finely designed silver and gold jewellery within the UK and also a growing number of private clients Worldwide.

Over the years the company expanded and has supplied prestigious customers such as John Lewis, Ernest Jones, Thomas Pink and the Henley Royal Regatta. During this phase, Jeremy employed various craftsmen in order to meet demand but in recent years he has begun to steer the company away from wholesale customers and towards making jewellery for individual clients. As a result he has now gone back to working alone. In many ways this has made life simpler and less frustrating, but it does mean that he tends to lose the power of speech for weeks at a time.
