Following several years in both the asbestos and Construction industries Search Environmental Ltd was set up in July 2004 by Richard Stait & Andrew Howells to meet the demand for independent and experienced asbestos consultancy services in the UK. Over the past few years we have worked tirelessly to gain an excellent reputation for quality, flexibility and a bespoke approach to all the services we provide, ensuring all our clients receive a first class service and are happy to offer referrals.
From our Midlands base we are able to operate nationwide and have regularly undertaken projects in Scotland, Ireland, Wales and the Isle of Mann.We hold full professional Indemnity, Public Liability and Employers Liability Insurance certificates for all work undertaken.
Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral that has been used in a range of building materials to make them more rigid and fire resistant. It has also been used in household products such as ironing boards and oven gloves. Asbestos was used extensively as a building material in Great Britain from the 1950s through to the mid 1980s but wasn’t finally banned from use until 1999.
