About Alistair Price Limited
After spending two years at Rycotewood College in Oxfordshire, from 1977 to 1979, on the highly acclaimed Cabinet Making and Antique Restoration course Alistair spent the next seven years in a workshop in High Wycombe working as a cabinet maker with the latter three years managing the workshop.
It was working here, alongside two very experienced chairmakers, Alistair was able to develop a further skill, one that is very rare to find in the 21st Century. This art of chairmaking was to play quite a large part in the future of the business.
In May 1986 Alistair set up in business in a workshop in Eton Wick, as a Cabinet and Chairmaker, and also offered a very important Antique Restoration service to the surrounding, and London, Antique dealers and private clients alike.
In 1994 we moved to our current workshop in White Waltham, a Village about 2 miles out from the centre of Maidenhead. This was a huge step forward in so far that we are now on the ground floor with lots of parking and easy access. At Eton Wick we were first floor with no parking and everything had to be carried up an outside staircase! We now have our own French polisher, an upholsterer and other skilled people to call on to offer a whole range of services which include carving, desk leathering, chair caning and rushing, turning, glazing, clock repairs etc.

We are a small well established business located in the village of White Waltham, just on the outskirts of Maidenhead in Berkshire and very close to Windsor. Our workshop and showroom are about 1 mile from the M4 motorway, about 50 minutes by car from London
In our fully equipped workshop, we offer a bespoke furniture making and restoration service. In addition to general furniture making we also carry out the art of chairmaking. We can make exact copies of chairs from the original to complete or extend sets. This along with our vast stocks of period timber, veneer, locks, handles, castors and other brass fittings we are able to offer a full restoration service to customers antique furniture, at very competitive price.

We are normally open from 07-30 till 16-45 Monday-Thursday and 07-30 till 15-45 on Fridays but a phone call first would be advisable in case we are not here due to unforeseen circumstances, deliveries etc.
We are normally closed Saturday and Sunday but can be available by appointment.
