Having been in the industry since the age of three, Paul has over 40 years experience in the flooring industry ! He started off hundreds of years ago doing all the jobs his Father didn't want to do in his carpet shop in Marlow at the weekends. He then served an apprenticeship to learn how install carpet, vinyl and other floor-coverings at an early age when still in shorts, soon after he moved into the commercial sector to relish the challenges that brings.
Paul met Quentin in 1997 when they worked together in a busy contracts office and they went on soon after to start up in business together and PDQ Contract Flooring Ltd was born.
When not working, Paul enjoys socialising, wine, spirits, food and travel......................not necessarily in that order but if he can have nice meal with wine, in a foreign country amongst good company, then top it off with Brandy life doesn't get any better !!
"I'll just do this flooring thing until I go to Uni!" 22 years later and still doing it! Quentin managed to get a 'temporary' job in a carpet shop in-between A-Levels and going to University to study Economics. On the first day the then Contracts Manager grabbed him from the shop floor and was told to go with him. That was the start of a life in the world of Contract Flooring.

We have worked with PDQ since 2013 on a phased programme to replace carpets and other flooring in our Grade II listed building. This has entailed working with other contractors on a co-ordinated and tightly controlled programme during the limited period available to us each year in which to carry out a wide range of refurbishment works. PDQ have been competitive in their pricing and have achieved pre-agreed delivery timetables. Their installation teams are flexible and helpful.
