Heritage Vision Ltd

in 2004 after 14 years of experience of planning, building design and conservation in both the public and private sector. Having observed at first hand the difficulties that can be experienced when trying to alter and gain approval for changes to listed buildings and buildings in conservation areas, Heritage Vision was established to guide and support clients through the process. Born and brought up in Surrey where development pressures were strong but the wealth of traditional buildings and the character of historic areas were being preserved, Nichola gained an early interest in how to balance conservation and change. With qualifications in architecture, building conservation and planning, Nichola has worked in private practice in West Sussex and for Local Planning Authorities in Somerset, West Sussex and Devon.

With a background in customer services and construction, Alan supports the administrative side of the business, property maintenance, photography and surveying.

The consultancy prides itself on friendly, personal service. The emphasis is on gaining a full understanding of client needs, clarifying exactly what services are to be provided, clearly identifying what the fees and charges will be and sticking to agreed timescales.

The consultancy is helping homeowners and developers realise their development aspirations through sensitive design work and thorough planning research.
