Company Background
Compound Security Systems was founded in 2005 by Howard Stapleton and (Me) Si Morris, when we invented The Mosquito Teenage Anti-Loitering device. This was a huge hit in many countries around the world, caused a huge amount of publicity and controversy and we had a great deal of fun. The Mosquito remains a very popular and effective solution to teenage loitering issues.
Aside from inventing The Mosquito, we are market leaders in the design and manufacture of battery powered wireless security equipment . This is an exciting developing market with a great deal of potential and we are continually developing and improving systems and pushing the boundaries of the wireless security market.
Who we are
Howard’s the techie. He oversees systems design and development and looks after the technical support aspects of the business and sales. He has 20 years experience as a security engineer in front line and managerial rolls. Don’t ask Howard to remember anything though, he is the epitome of the mad scientist. How many times can one person lose his keys???
My background is in Marketing and business development. I take responsibility for the commercial aspects of the business such as marketing, finances, legal & admin etc. and assist with technical support and system design from a user and functionality perspective.

In addition to our range of wireless security alarms, we provide an extensive range of environmental monitoring alarms, which again are completely stand-alone battery powered with mains power options. All units will alert multiple users via SMS and phone-call when triggered.
