We launched our company in February 2005 as an independent manufacturer of after-market components suitable for Land Rover vehicles. In 2008 we decided to re-brand as KBX - Kempsey Bryden Exterior Upgrades, this reflects our personal confidence in our products.
We are so proud of them we wanted our names on them! Since then thousands of our exterior styling upgrades have been fitted, evolving and enhancing Land Rover Defenders world wide.
Mark Kempsey and Andrew Bryden established the company with the introduction of the Grille and Lamp Surround Upgrade Kit. Customer feedback was so positive that the Sport Side Air Intake and the Hi-force Wing Top Vents soon followed to offer a combination of high quality and stylish components.

We have been interested in Land Rovers for over 25 years, restoring and maintaining a number of vehicles from concourse-standard Series Ones to newer Defenders, so we understand that our products should be easy to fit with the minimum of time and effort. No special skills or tools are needed.
In addition to our enthusiasm for Land Rovers we are qualified in engineering, design and manufacture so we can ensure our products are of the highest quality.
We work with a limited number of retailers to maintain high standards of customer care, Andrew’s own company AB Parts is our main distributor so we can keep in touch with many of our customers direct, their feedback is vital to us. Our products have also been featured in national and international Land Rover magazines, including being fitted to project vehicles.
