We make all our sauces at our “saucery” in the heart of rural Suffolk. In fact some of us have been making sauce together for almost 20 years.
The story of Stokes Sauces began with a food business start-up born from the belief that food should be honest, clean and taste delicious.
Founded in 2004 by Rick Sheepshanks today Stokes Sauces employs over 40 people producing over 75 different lines, all hand produced to carefully created and closely guarded recipes in our Suffolk "Saucery".

We only use our carefully created reatil recipes in our catering range to ensure you always get the perfect stokes taste. For nutritional information please click on the retail product within the shop where you will find everything you need.
At Stokes, we ensure ingredients are clearly listed on the label of our products to clearly state where ingredients contain or are derived from cereals containing gluten, such as barley and wheat.

N.B Malt Vinegar and Distilled Malt Vinegar does not contain any gluten. It is removed by the double fermentation process that vinegar goes through as part of the manufacturing process. However, because it is derived from barley, this information has to appear in the list of ingredients on the label) Spirit Vinegar does not contain any gluten. Procedures are in place to eliminate cross contamination from gluten containing products/raw materials.

We are seeking an Assistant Technical Manager to provide support to the Technical function within a fast paced, food manufacturing operation. You will have knowledge and experience of BRC, HACCP and QMS
Working as part of a highly skilled team, responsibilites include working closely with the NPD team to ensure that products are developed and launched successfully, ensuring daily compliance with all parts of the Quality Management System, managing non-conformance and ensuring that these are investigated with corrective actions put in place, managing customer complaint investigations, producing customer specifications, ensuring hygiene standards are maintained and covering for the Technical Manager in their absence.
