Starting off as a solo vet in the New Inn practice, Richard’s aim was to deliver outstanding care to the animals of the Pontypool area. Within a short time, the business was supporting 3 vets and had outgrown its original premises. With growing demand, a second surgery was opened in Fairwater, Cwmbran in 1997. This gave the space for continued growth, with the busines now supporting 4 vets, 5 nurses, 4 receptionists and a practice manager.

Fairwater Surgery is located at the rear of Fairwater shops, at the top of Fairwater Way. Driving up Fairwater Way, turn right after the turning for Fairhill, just after the bus bay. We occupy the same building as Goodwin Dental Practice, Goodwins occupy the upper floor and we are on the ground floor. If you approach passing the new Cwmbran High School, take a left turn at the roundabout beyond the school, then turn immediately left again. Approaching from Hollybush and Two Locks, take a right turn at the roundabout immediately before school, then turn immediately left.
