Founded in 1999 by furniture designer and maker Chris Berry, Berrydesign was born out of a passion for fine furniture design and functional living.

Chris has always believed in the beauty and durability of solid wood since designing his first dining table at the age of 14 from the oak floorboards he found in his grandfather’s attic. Each Berrydesign piece of furniture is still designed by him. Every design has arisen from months of sketches, prototypes and revisions to create stunning and stylish, solid wood furniture that exceeds its functional requirements to become a beautiful piece you will treasure. If you are delayed or need to change your visit at the last minute we would be grateful if you could call 01635 255352, as we are often in our workshop or design studio, which is in a slightly different location to our showroom.
Berrydesign's showroom is based within minutes from the M4 and M3 on the Hampshire/Berkshire border.
Please do not hesitate to ask us about any of your furniture design ideas. Berrydesign's unique business of designing, making and delivering all our furniture ourselves means we can create the exact furniture you want in solid oak or solid walnut.
Following your visit we will send you a quotation and if required, design drawings for you to approve. Once you are happy we will turn these into an order confirmation for you.
If you would like to go ahead with your order, it is confirmed with a
payment. Please note that we will not start making your furniture until this payment has been made. Unfortunately due to each piece of furniture being custom made, once we have started on your order, the deposit is non-refundable.
We aim to deliver all our furniture, fully assembled and installed in your home, exactly where you want it, within 10-16 weeks of your order confirmation, and if it's possible to deliver any sooner we will try to do so.
At Berrydesign we are able to create bespoke units to suite your home and storage requirements. This bespoke display unit was designed to offer the benefits of both a tall glass paneled bookcase and the open top surface and cupboard storage of a sideboard. With the option to be made in solid oak, walnut, cherry or maple we can design and make the ideal cabinet to suit your home. This bespoke Glide cabinet is finished in our silvered oak lacquer, which is our hardest maintenance free finish. This bespoke design includes two additional half width glass shelves on the left hand side with internal LED lighting and a central door lock to keep valuables secure. This desk comes from our Console beveled collection with its crisp beveled top and flush fitting doors and drawers. Each desk we make at Berrydesign is bespoke made to your requirements and work-space needs. Choose from deep filing drawers, slim pencil drawers and hinged doors plus more to create a desk that is unique to you.
Our beautiful Console Bevelled cabinet design adapted with 4 x external "pop-out" CD drawers, making it a perfect TV or HiFi cabinet. Shown in solid Oak with Strawood finish, and continuous base plinth with 28/30mm top. This cabinet was made 200cm long x 42cm deep x 55cm high, but can be made to your bespoke dimensions and requirements.
A unique design to create a “floating feel” to the desk, making it ideal for use in the centre of a room, yet also works so well against a wall. Carefully mitred and matched grain, waterfalls down each side of the desk, which houses two deep drawers. We all need an area at home to work in, the trick is to create a design that doesn't make you feel that you are working! Shown in solid Wild Walnut, Strawood polish.
Our current delivery times are 12 - 16 weeks from confirmation of your order.
We will contact you approximately 2 weeks before your expected delivery date in an email to give you a provisional delivery date to let you know that your dining table, dining chairs, extending dining table, or cabinet are ready and you can confirm or change this date to suit you.
Our team will arrange a delivery time to suit you and will always provide a two hour window to allow for traffic. You can then be relaxed knowing when they will arrive and can plan the rest of your day accordingly without being stressed about your delivery. You should not need to take the whole day off work.
