We are a Hull based company establisted in 1968
In 1974 this family run business moved to the current location of Faraday Works in Crowle Street which was built to accommodate the expanding business.
By now the company was dealing with clients from a multitude of disciplines including food and dairy processing, pharmaceuticals, shipping, offshore oil and gas and shore based refineries.
It was at this time it became a founding member of the Federation of Small businesses.
This steady expansion led to the formation of the Electrical Contracting department in 1982. This enabled the company to design and manufacture panels as well as implement instrumentation and electrical contracts. This also led to the company becoming NICEIC approved a couple of years later.
In 1993 the company became a member of the Institute of Measurement and Control which is committed to promoting the professional excellence and standing of engineers and technologists at all levels in the automation, instrumentation, control and related industries.
In 2004 Instrument and Controls (Hull) became a Limited company trading as Instco.
As a company we are always looking to improve our services and keep at the forefront of advances in the equipment we use, keeping Instco at the leading edge of its field.
We are located in Hull which is on the east coast of England on the banks of the River Humber. We are ideally placed to serve Europe being next to the North Sea and near to Humberside Airport. Also with excellent UK transportation links, this allows fast access to all customers.
Instco provide a reliable and efficient service. All repairs and calibrations are carried out to a very high standard. I would recommend them to any company looking for this kind of service.
Instco's ability to collect and drop off equipment and provide a quick turnaround within our planned outages makes Instco particularly attractive to our business.
