Urban Ink Ltd is a family owned and run business that was formed in 2004 to provide a one-stop shop printing solution to the marketing, creative design and publishing markets. Our aim is to provide cost effective, high quality printing and creative finishing with a healthy appreciation and understanding of demands and constraints of such things as product launches, go-live dates, mailing timelines, eleventh hour corrections (indeed twelfth hour corrections) and the infinite amount of other challenges that we face in this industry. We take enormous pride in the quality of our work and the deadlines that we meet and this is the basis of our continued success.
At Urban Ink we are extremely proud of the good reputation we’ve managed to build over the past 13 years. Working with and alongside many household brand names we’ve managed to position ourselves in the market as a reliable and pro-active partner for many complex and involved projects and as such have enjoyed a steady growth. Follow our path to success below:
+ July 2017 – Urban Ink purchases Shaftesbury Engraving Company
Urban Ink are extremely proud to announce it’s purchase of Shaftesbury Engraving Company. Although bittersweet in circumstance; The plan had been to enable our close friend Alan Taylor, to finally retire to the shores of the Norfolk broads. Sadly Alan passed away just days after the purchase had finalised. Urban Ink have worked closely with Alan and his team at Shaftesbury since our conception in 2004, we’ve been jointly involved in many projects for our shared customers and understand each others working practices and quality expectations. So when Alan hinted at a possible retirement, it was an obvious step to take. Shaftesbury’s wealth of experience and incredible expertise in both standard print finishing and specialist artisan finishing brings a whole new diversity to Urban Ink’s offerings and we look forward to bringing these fantastic finishes into play on daily basis. We endeavour to continue the incredible standard of work that Alan and all at Shaftesbury have become renowned for, and we hope to protect and expand on the legacy that Alan spent so many years of hard work creating.
