About Black Yak
We are a small company that specialises in the sourcing, import and resale of quality clothing and craft products from Asia and in particular Nepal. We have been trading since 1999 and our product range has now expanded to include both winter and summer ranges of hand made wool and cotton clothing, hats, gloves, socks, scarves, accessories and craft products.
During the time that we have been dealing with our suppliers we have forged very close links with them and we try to be as actively involved in the growth of their businesses as we are in our own.
Our ethos is to buy only honestly, fairly and ethically produced goods from our trading partners and we work very closely with them to ensure that they earn an honest wage for honest work and that they have safe and pleasant working conditions and practices. During our regular visits to them we share our knowledge of what our customers expect and demand and we all work towards getting a better quality product for our customers in return for a higher price and higher profit paid to our suppliers.

With our designers in the UK and production facilities in Nepal, we produce very popular summer and winter ranges with an emphasis on quality, style and wearability.
