ABOUT CARDANEL SADDLES LIMITED

In the 1960’s, after leaving school the two brothers joined him, where they trained, and both served five year apprenticeships. This gave them the foundation to produce top quality work. They continued to develop their skills over the next 40 years, and worked for various different saddlers. This was a beneficial experience, as it gave them an insight into all areas of the trade. They became proficient in machining, saddle cutting, pattern making and in designing and producing saddles to meet the individual, specific requirements of their customers.

In 1997, one of the brothers, Carl Lowbridge formed Cardanel Saddles. He produced high quality saddles for a number of English Equestrian Outlets. As the reputation of the Company grew, a substantial increase in orders followed.

The brothers continue to produce the very highest quality saddles for today’s discerning rider. Their saddles are produced exclusively in their own workshop by a small but highly skilled workforce, with many years of experience between them. The brothers remain focused on their commitment to ensure that the customer will always receive a product that is second to none in both quality and style.

Cardanel Saddles of Walsall is a small family business specialising in the manufacture of high quality leather saddles. All of our qualified saddle makers have many years experience and can make any type of saddle to customers own requirements.

We are members of the Society of Master Saddlers and the Guild of Master Craftsmen.
