Forest Therapeutic Counselling Agency
In order to suit various needs, we have: final year diploma students and newly qualified counsellors to clinical psychologists. Therefore our fees vary from 25 to 85.
All counsellors are fully qualified and/or accredited with their individual governing bodies (UKCP/BACP). We receive referrals both from doctors as well as mostly self-referrals. Client's also come to us via their private health insurances or EAP's, (employee assistance programmes). We pride ourselves in usually being able to see people within 72 hours of contact. We can arrange appointments 7 days a week depending on client needs and therapists' availability.
Please see below for links to some of the professional bodies and associations that we are affiliated with, or work along side:
British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
The BACP is the UK's professional membership association for counsellors and psychotherapists.
The National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy provides training in Hypno-Psychotherapy at venues in London, Glasgow, Liverpool, and Northern Ireland.
What Can Counselling and Psychotherapy offer me?
Forest TCA offers the possibility to make a space and a time, where you can speak about the issues that concern you. The opportunity to both be heard, and equally to hear what you have to say about yourself and your world. In following the pathways of your own speech, it is possible to find the direction necessary to tackle life’s day to day problems. Therapy can help you slow down and feel better about yourself.
Forest TCA works to the British Association of Counselling’s Code of Ethics and Good Practice. Forest TCA adhere to various professional bodies and are an organisational member of CPC, Counsellors in Primary Care.
Do I have to have a specific problem to come for counselling?
No. Feelings of dissatisfaction, depression, indecision, confusion or life changes etc. are a few of the things which can be explored through counselling.
