ABK History
Our business was established in 1967 by Alan Bernard Kinch (ABK) – a respected local painter and decorator from High Wycombe.
In 1988 Alan Kinch relocated to Wales so his son, Roy aged 21, also a professional painter and decorator, took on the running of the family business.
ABK branched out into renovation in 1995 after many years of seeing clients being let down by their builders – the resultant issue being that decorating works were being postponed.

Paint recycling scheme – we prefer, where possible to provide any leftover paint to local schools and community projects – rather than throwing away
Paint solidifier – we use this waste management product to dispose unused water based paint safely and responsibly
Van sharing – we actively encourage van sharing amongst our teams to reduce emissions
