has specialised in beautifully produced, illustrated books, which represent a fresh, eclectic take on anatomy. Insightful on all themes based in movement and exercise, we have grown to embrace subjects as varied as sports coaching, diet and the fitness industry. As our catalogue of titles broadens and our list grows, we are expanding into new territories and gaining a broader audience around the world. Through this we stay true to our founding principles; to produce books that educate, maintain high production values with an authoritative content for healthcare professionals and unqualified individuals alike.
The company has a well-established international presence through our US-based co-publisher North Atlantic Books with physical distribution throughout North America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa by Random House; Cardinal Publishers Group takes care of books which fall outside the remit of North Atlantic Books.
Still run by its founder, Jonathan Hutchings, we are a small press based in West Sussex. We release four or five carefully considered titles each year to add to our list.
