Richard Bacon Associates is an independent accountancy and business consultancy practice based in Hacheston, near Woodbridge, Suffolk. Our practice provides a bespoke and very personal service and seeks to achieve the highest standards of professionalism and client support. In conjunction with our obvious function – acting as agent for clients, with H M Revenue and Customs and the Department of Social Security – our practice has developed its consultancy and business support services.
We provide support and advice to clients through regular contact. We assist with the preparation of business plans; costings analysis and management accounts and pride ourselves on being a truly independent financial advisor. The expertise of our staff and partners, combined with the use of the latest technology and direct access to other professional associates ensures that we are able to offer a range and depth of services which we believe compares favourably with all other firms. Our commitment to service ensures that our client base continues to increase as a result of referrals from existing clients and professional contacts. The growth in our practice, as a result of referrals from clients and other professionals reflects, we believe, the quality of our firm and the commitment of our partners.
Who We Are
Richard trained with a local firm, before becoming a partner in a five partner practice, based in Halesworth, Suffolk. In 1989 he formed Richard Bacon Associates concentrating on the provision of quality advice to a range of businesses and individuals centred on taxation with a strong emphasis on forward planning and business advice. He is a member of the Institute of Financial Accountants and a Fellow of the Federation of Tax Advisors.
Joined her husband’s practice in 1983 and has been instrumental in developing the firm’s computerised tax and accounting services with particular emphasis upon monthly management accounts, payroll and Self Assessment.
Has for a number of years specialised in the provision of in-depth management and consultancy services to a range of high quality, prestigious organisations and individuals. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a consultant to the firm.
The preparation of accurate financial information is simply another piece in the jigsaw to enable you to operate a successful business. We will help you interpret the results and plan the way forward during times of expansion and consolidation.
Business Planning
Our practice believes that we should be regarded as your ‘in-house’ advisor and as such involved in allowing you to achieve the best possible outcome in any given situation. Our input is not restricted to the ‘traditional’ accounting functions. We are heavily involved in strategic planning at all levels for both business and personal clients.
Business Evaluation
We believe that we are the logical advisors to undertake a regular structured review of your affairs, on occasion with representatives from our team of associates. These reviews range from discussion regarding the current provisions within your will to your retirement objectives.
