In 2002, our managing director, Robert Shaw, left a granite and marble worktop company to set up his own, family-run business in Hampshire. His aim was to create superior products at fair prices and deliver excellent service – customer satisfaction was a priority. With nothing more than a few tools, a van and a small family loan, Robert’s risk paid off and Shaw Stone has grown into a business which – as our client testimonials demonstrate – more than meets that initial goal; investing in state of the art machinery and employing a team of skilled and motivated experts.
We are now a well-established business with a showroom and a factory in Titchfield. Shaw Stone suppies and installs over 250 granite kitchen worktops and some 5000m2 of stone tiles each year, in addition to completing many other natural stone projects.
Despite our track record for making and fitting wonderful worktops, we don’t rest on our laurels; we continually invest and learn to ensure that our service delivery always exceeds customers’ expectations. Most recently, we spent £150,000 on a new CNC computerised cutting and polishing machine and £80,000 on a Scandinvent CNC saw – meaning that we can produce even higher quality items.
