Our production factory operates every day of the week, ensuring our ice cream is as first-class fresh and delicious as possible. This also ensures that for our wholesale customers, we can make what you want, when you want it.
We produce a number of Signature Exclusives specifically for customers. Because we use artisan methods of producing smaller batches of ice cream, we can help develop an exclusive flavour for you. So whether you’re a restaurant wanting your own exclusive flavour, or a bride and groom wanting your own special flavour for the big day, our production team can design the perfect flavour for you.
Our mission
We are passionate Italians and proud Lancastrians. Since our Grandfather started the business in 1896, our aim has been to manufacture, whole and retail the best quality luxury ice cream. We use only the best ingredients, with as many as possible sourced from local suppliers, to make real Italian ice cream ensures every lick tastes unbelievably delicious.
In 1936, our Grandfather married his sweetheart, an Italian ice cream girl herself. Originally from the beautiful town of Vigiolo in Liguria, Italy, our Grandmother’s family, the Massas, had been making ice cream in Chorley, Lancashire since 1892.
Now our parents are in charge, assisted by us, their children, making us the fourth generation of this very successful family!
Quality and luxury are our guiding principles. This drives our every decision. We continually look for new and innovative products and production methods, keeping us ahead of the game.
We manufacture the best quality luxury ice cream on the market. Our wholesale customers love our quick responses to requests for new flavours. And now with three high-spec Italian ice cream parlours, we retail our delicious products direct to customers.
We are Yell.com’s NW Family Business of the Year, Finalists in the Lancashire Tourism Awards 2016 and are Finalists in the prestigious Lancashire business awards, the BIBBAs. We've won so many product quality awards at the National Ice Cream Alliance’s annual competitions that we’ve run out of space in the offices to display them all! We have been National Champions and have countless industry diplomas for our ice cream.
