Originally a pine and country antiques shop, owned since the mid 1970's by Richard's parents, it wasn't until they retired in 2003 that the shop began life as it is now. The business was brought into the 21st century by Richard, and, his wife Louise who stripped back and re-styled the shop, whilst continuing with the customer focused values of a family run business. The rest, they say, is history. 10 years later the new home furniture and exquisite accessory store is growing every day.
Richard & Louise use 'The Richard Harvey Collection' to illustrate their love of fusion between traditional and contemporary design classics and their showrooms illustrate how the furniture and accessories can be combined together to create the most stylish home.
From solid fruitwood cabinetry, individual Chinese furniture, British manufactured sofas and occasional chairs, to exquisite ornamental mirrors, hand-picked Himalayan pot lamps, and, statement home sculptures. Their stunning showrooms extend in to a 19th Century former Baptist Chapel where they have displayed furniture to emulate the home environment. Their personal customer service provides a wonderful experience for the design conscious home shopper.

Our sumptuous Upholstery can be made bespoke to your individual requirements. Our Knole sofa manufacturers have been designing and creating by hand since 1972, blending traditional craftsmanship with the finest quality materials. Working closely with our customers, each piece can be customised to produce an exceptional piece that is as beautiful as it is unique. We currently have the largest showroom display of Knole sofas in the area and this is why we are considered for specialising in this design. Our wonderful selection of British made occasional chairs can be upholstered in a fabric or leather of your choosing, and, finished (inc. cushion interior) to your specification.
We are able to supply fabrics for all your soft furnishing requirements, curtains, cushions, and, re-upholstery. We have a wonderful range of swatches and samples at the shop including; Jim Dickens, Kobe Fabrics, The Isle Mill and Abraham Moon. These can be viewed at our showrooms, or a selection can be brought to your house if you would like our assistance, expert advice, and, to see the fabrics in situ. A full curtain and re-upholstery service is also available.
