Steve has worked in the water filtration industry for many years. Steve has in depth knowledge of water softening, water filters, iron and manganese filtration and pH correction. He provides technical support to customers and the rest of the team.
Technical Director, Matthew Wilson is considered by many to be one of the UK's leading water softener and iron reduction professionals. Matthew regularly visits customers on a troubleshooting or consultancy basis. Having previously worked for one of the world’s largest water filtration companies, Matthew has extensive technical knowledge relating to domestic, light commercial and commercial water filtration products. In recent years Matthew has developed several new water treatment innovations which have been patented by Springhill and these products now sell into world markets.

Springhill offer a full installation service in most parts of Northern England. We are also very happy to sell products on a supply only basis to all areas of the UK.
We only send in-house, fully trained engineers to carry out work on behalf of Springhill. Wherever possible, we try to allocate the same engineer to a customer. The aim is to build individual knowledge so that, in the event of a problem, we can provide telephone support and / or visit site and solve problems quickly

In 2001, Geoff Nemec moved into a beautiful 17th Century Pennine Farmhouse in Halifax. His partners daughter (Kate) became extremely ill after drinking contaminated water from the untreated spring supply at the property. Following this incident Karen, Matt and Geoff (former colleagues), drew together their extensive water industry knowledge to found Springhill Water Services. The goal was to set up a business to protect and service the private water supply needs of residents in Calderdale, which is one the most concentrated private water supply areas in the UK.
Working alongside consultants, designers, building managers, contractors, environmental health officers and end users, we offer a complete range of private water supply services including sales of water treatment equipment, installation, servicing and maintenance. Having access to our own spring and borehole supply, means we have been able to develop a range of quality products coupled with excellent standards of technical advice and after sales support.
