Walkrite was founded in 2003 in order to provide accessible, high-quality, professional Podiatric care. Although Walkrite specialises in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Podiatry, Walkrite clinicians also have extensive experience in other areas of Podiatric practice and work closely with specialist teams to deliver the best possible care to our patients.
We endeavour only to use equipment and provide treatments that are recognised as gold standard and, where possible, evidence-based and indicated in improving your pain and mobility, at the same time as embracing the latest developments in technology and practice in this field.
Walkrite clinicians hold qualifications that are recognised by mainstream regulatory bodies such as the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), which regulates clinicians in the NHS and in the private sector, The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists (SCP) which is the main representative body of Podiatrists in the UK and The Association for Perioperative Practice (AfPP) for Walkrite Podiatrists who also work in surgical environments. Our clinical locations are audited by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) which is the independent regulator of health and social care in England and we work within a peer-group multi-disciplinary team environment, ensuring that our treatments are closely monitored and representative of best practice.
We are always striving to achieve the best care possible and we aim to provide a positive caring environment that will improve your pain, increase your mobility and improve your quality of life.
Walkrite incorporates the best clinical care and technology to alleviate painful lower limb conditions of all descriptions. Expert clinical knowledge and the latest techniques are combined to alleviate your symptoms and get you on the move again. Although we use specialist equipment and techniques we are still strongly dependent on good clinical knowledge, assessment skills and evidence-based practice and believe that excellent clinical and communication skills should form the basis of patient care.
