E R Jenkin and Sons is a family owned and run company and has been established in Penzance for over 60 years. We became a Ltd company in 2003. We have a loyal staff of skilled tradesmen and together with the Directors Simon, Nigel and Jeremy Jenkin have a depth of expertise and experience, which is used to produce the highest quality of service and workmanship.

We moved to our current premises on Long Rock Industrial Estate in 2008 which provides us with a well equipped modern workshop, welfare facilities for employees and office space.

As a company we have worked towards building a solid reputation for providing a quality service with a skilled and experienced workforce. The directors work closely with all members of staff to ensure the continual development and improvement of the company across all areas.

We have recently been assessed and approved as meeting the standards by ISO9001:2008 for our management system which focuses on quality and improvement across all of our procedures ensuring that our customers are provided with a service that meets the required standard as a minimum. We are committed to Health and Safety at work and are assessed annually by The Construction Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS). All our employees attend yearly Asbestos Awareness Training certified by UKATA. In addition to this we have developed a training plan for all employees to complement their activities on site.

Based in Penzance E R Jenkin and Sons Ltd provide building, construction and electrical services around West Cornwall. Our clients include Cornwall County Council, primary and secondary schools, commercial properties such as pubs and shops as well as private. We provide a range of services from small maintenance tasks to extensive refurbishments and improvements.

We are committed to our attention to detail and quality workmanship alongside excellent customer care. We can provide a full service in helping you within the design stages, managing projects and also providing ongoing maintenance both reactive and planned. Our employees have a wealth of experience and work as a team to provide a reputable service.
