Deborah A Wilkinson has at least twenty years experience in the legal profession, spending eleven years with large firms of solicitors in the North West. She has specialised in Equity and Trusts, Wills and Probate, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Land Law and Conveyancing Practice. Deborah qualified as a Lawyer after studying at Liverpool John Moores University.
The firm is proud to be members of Certainty, which is a register and database of Wills prepared by Lawyers and provides details of the whereabouts of Wills. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (which involved six years of studying law and passing the relevant exams) and whose members are independently regulated by CILEx Regulation. Fellows are specialist Lawyers and the Institute has over 22,000 members and is recognized as the third branch of the legal profession. Deborah Wilkinson & Co Ltd. are also proud to be members of the Federation of Small Businesses.
Helen has a wealth of experience within the legal sector and has worked for both large and smaller firms in the North West including also working for a large firm of Accountants. Helen has a good knowledge of Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney and matters that affect the elderly but is also familiar with conveyancing, commercial matters and matrimonial work.
Laura currently is studying law at the University of Liverpool and in her third year. She has studied Equity and Trusts, Land Law and other aspects of law. She has special interests in Refugee, Asylum, Family and Human Rights Law. Laura’s role within Deborah Wilkinson and Co is assisting with the drafting of documents, arranging appointments and assisting with telephone enquiries. Laura’s first taste of the legal world began at the Crown Courts when she observed trials from the gallery. It was at this point she decided that she wanted a career in the legal world. She then went on to observe cases in the Magistrates Court. Amongst Laura’s qualifications is the ability to speak Chinese. She also has personal qualities to interact with people from all walks of life and is sympathetic with clients that require a little bit of extra help and attention.
