Salter Cleaning Services was established in 1989 in Solihull by Carl Salter.

Carl had been working for large general cleaning companies for a number of years and realised that clients wanted a more personal service from a company that specialised in window cleaning only - as opposed to dealing with companies that covered all aspects of general cleaning etc.

Soon the business expanded and additional staff were recruited and a substantial loyal client portfolio grew in the Midlands and surrounding areas.

With the recognition that the window cleaning industry needed to and would radically change (due to Health and Safety legislations and new working methods being introduced), the company in 2002 invested in our first waterfed pole system (Reach & Wash system).
