About Big Plant Nursery
Big Plant Nursery are specialist growers and importers of hardy exotic plants including hardy exotic and architectural trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants. We grow a wide range of bamboos, Japanese Maples, Palms and a wide selection of Ginkgo varieties. We are located just 40 miles south of London in West Sussex and only 15 minutes from the coast.
The nursery was founded in early 2000, and was born out of a passion for the plant kingdom and creating beautiful outdoor spaces. Our range of plants is continually increasing and developing and we're growing more of our own stock year on year. We do import some stock from abroad and our adventures take us to the best growers enabling us to hand pick our plants directly, without buying through a middle man. Our direct relationships with growers means that you can be assured of the quality and provenance of the plants.
The team at Big Plant are passionate about plants and we're able to offer a range of services including supply of plants, design, general consultation, planting and maintenance services. We're able to deliver stock all over the south east and beyond if necessary. We also offer an extensive range of plants via our website.
