ABOUT ALTO SAFETY LIMITED

With a degree in Building Surveying, David started working in health and safety as a CDM Co-ordinator (then Planning Supervisor) in 1996.  He was employed by an international consultancy and construction firm as a CDM Co-ordinator before setting up Alto Safety Ltd in 2003 and, as well as the UK, has worked in Spain, Luxembourg and Doha.

Following a career as a Principal in the Civil Service, Andrea joined Alto Safety in 2005.

Andrea specialises in the interpretation of legislation and in liaising with Regulators, She also undertakes audits for our non-construction businesses.

Bedford based health and safety consultancy Alto Safety Ltd was set up in 2003 and is run by directors David Rawlins and Andrea Witham (see details of their experience and qualifications: About Us).

We operate primarily in London and the South East and specialise in construction, but we do have clients in other areas of the country, principally in The Midlands and Manchester area, and we regularly work for other types of business.

For example, our Health and Safety Policies are not generic; they are tailored to the particular needs of your businesss.  We produce a readable document that does not contain superfluous material, so you will be able to use it easily.  We do not charge you for unnecessary visits and will not baffle you with legal terms; unless really necessary!
