At Street Farm Day Nursery, we use an online programme called Tapestry, an innovative, interactive Learning Journey.
Street Farm Day Nursery Ltd ensure that all children who attend the setting have a personal learning journey to record and store photos, observations and assessments in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The Tapestry programme allow us to track children’s development through the 7 areas of learning:
At Street Farm, all children and families are allocated a key person. This is a member of staff who has a special responsibility for your child, giving them the reassurance to feel safe and cared for. They will help your child become familiar with the nursery and develop a genuine bond with you and your child. The key person will carefully record your child’s progress and development and will share this with you, also giving you ideas to help your child at home. We encourage parents/carers to work in partnership with our staff as this has a positive impact on children’s learning and development.
Between the age of 2 and 3 we will review your child’s progress and provide parents/carers a written summary highlighting achievements and areas in which extra support might be needed.
