In this way we can do our best to ensure that your purchase is matched to your needs and that you are fully conversant with the machinery you have purchased. All sales are conducted in person, in our showroom at Colaton Raleigh, Nr Sidmouth, and the machinery is then fully assembled and prepared prior to handover in full working order. All controls and safety features are explained, along with routine maintenance points.
In the event of you buying a machine that is too heavy for you take away in your car (we will load your car for you) then we can arrange delivery to your home at a time to suit yourself. We will also dispose of all the packaging materials for you. And of course, we are always available to assist in the event of any problems with your machine, and in the rare event of a breakdown we are only too happy to repair the equipment and process any warranty where appropriate.
However, an online price may seem very attractive, but it is worth considering the risk you take with such a purchase. Machines bought on line are seldom assembled and tested, if only because once out of the box and fuelled they cannot be despatched by carrier. So you are very likely to have to wait in to have an unassembled machine dropped on your doorstep by a delivery company.
You will have to assemble it yourself and add the fluids. You should then test it and adjust cables, engine speeds, carburettor settings etc. These are tasks that need doing to ensure easy starting and efficient performance, but procedures you are unlikely to have the skill or equipment to do. Many online purchasers use their machines incorrectly and inefficiently. Should the machine then fail for any reason and you want it repaired by the vendor, you will have to repack it in the original (or similar) packing, and await a carrier collection. Then you will need to wait in yet again for the repaired item to be returned to you.
So please consider us for your purchase and understand why we are a little more expensive but offer so much more for the money.
