ABOUT PRIOR CONSULTING (CAMBRIDGE) LIMITED
We offer a full range range of assessment and therapy services. Dr Mark Westacott is a Cambridge trained Consultant Clinical Psychologist and an accredited cognitive behavioural psychotherapist (CBT) and cognitive analytic therapist (CAT). We provide a variety of evidence-based therapies including CBT, CAT, Schema Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Clinical supervision and training therapies are offered to other mental health professionals and teaching and external examining services are currently provided to a number of clinical psychology and psychotherapy courses around the country.
The practice provides medico-legal services and Expert Witness reports can be provided in personal injury, employment and criminal cases.
We work across both the health and employment sectors to help people and organisations make positive changes and achieve their desired goals and outcomes. Our approaches are evidence-based and draw on the latest clinical psychology and psychotherapy research and also developments in coaching and organisational theory and management.
Our philosophy is based on the belief that all of our clients are unique and so solutions need to develop out of a carefully tailored understanding of the problems and be worked on together in partnership. What we bring to this is flexibility in our approach and a depth of knowledge and experience to help guide the process.
