Established in 1964 on a foundation of long-term customer partnerships based on the highest standards of craftsman quality and exceptional service. From humble beginnings, making its first Gallows bracket in 1973 the Company enjoyed growth to quickly become the market leader in stocked timber Gallows brackets and Canopies. 2001 saw the launch of the first website with enquiries from Europe and America.
2008 saw the widening of the product offering in that Glass fibre and our engineering side developed our current range of metal post supports. The company became limited in 2002 and Canopy Products was born.
2015 proves exciting in that we have become an accredited manufacturer of Accoya and our first products launched via our new website. In addition a fitting service has been established. We have invested in our first apprentice to ensure the craftsmanship is retained for future generations.
The Canopy Products principle of becoming the first-choice supplier to fully satisfy customer requirements has enabled us to offer a range of building products to a growing number of customers including blue-chip organisations, major house builders right through to start-ups and one man businesses. We now offer a comprehensive nationwide service of over 200+ stocked building products delivered next day.

Canopy Products has been able to make and sell FSC® certified products since 2010. Timber products pre-fixed "F" are FSC certified (FSC® C005564).
Our galvanized steel post shoe is designed to be resistant to exposure to the elements. By keeping the timber post above the ground level out of the damp areas and allowing the post foot to dry out after rain it helps prevent decay and prolong the life of the post. SWL 25KN.
Technical-The 60 mm deep steel cup is cut from 100mm x 100mm x 3mm wall steel box section. The cup is drilled with 2 No 10mm holes.The 93.5mm x 93.5mm x 3mm sole plate with a 12mm drain and 35mm post hole are laser cut to profile.The post is a 300mm x 34.5 x 2mm wall tube.The 150mm x 150mm x 3 mm base plate is laser cut with a 35mm post hole and 2 No x 12mm holes in the corners of the base plate to receive fixing bolts if required. The cup is welded to the base plate and to the steel tube. The shoe post is welded to a 150mm x 150mm x 3mm base plate.The completed shoe is hot dip galvanized.This product is designed to be concreted into the ground or fixed to a concrete base.The safe Working load is calculated using a factor of safety of six.For approximate conversion of the SWL into tonnes divide by 10.
