We are producing THREE volumes, each covering in-depth stories of the club, the players and the matches. You can find more detail about each individual volume by clicking on the tab at the side of this page, but in brief:

Volume Two is a biographical history of every player to have appeared in even a single match for the club, all the managers, trainers and off-field personnel. Unlike other books of this ilk, we are going right back to 1865 and telling the stories of hundreds of players and staff who served the club before it joined the Football League in 1892.

Other aspects include details of the early grounds and changes in philosophy, the early innovations and the people who made them, while showcasing an impressive array of photos, many never previously published and, for example, we have even unearthed the earliest known piece of Forest memorabilia which dates back to 1874.

The Historical Almanac has taken several years to prepare and, after a few hiccups, will be printed soon. All subscribers will be invited to a special event where they will be able to collect their books and meet Forest players from the past to sign their copies. We are now happy to confirm that this event will be held at the Southbank Bar on Trent Bridge on Wednesday 8th June. If you live outside Nottingham and / or cannot attend, your books will be posted / hand delivered as usual. Each subscriber will be offered a free ticket plus one to bring a guest with them on the night. It will be a ticket only event and you can email us at the usual address to confirm your attendance.
