The venue itself is gorgeous, and for many of our guests a real highlight of the day. The staff are friendly and professional, always ready to help and very knowledgeable. We wouldn't have wanted our special day to be anywhere else, and thank you so much for making it so memorable.
Sue & her team continually reassured us throughout the several preparation meetings that it all comes together on the day, but I had my doubts. However, true to her word she delivered a day that exceeded our expectations and a day which has given us a lifetime of lovely memories. This is one of the most beautiful places to get married. All of our wedding guests commented on the stunning views out to sea and the gorgeous castle and grounds. Not only is it visually stunning but the staff that work here are incredible. Our wedding ran so smoothly because of the hard work of Sue, our wedding coordinator. She is extremely profession and helpful and guides you through the day, keeping you calm and relaxed. The chefs that made our canapés, wedding breakfast and buffet were amazing. All guests with allergies or intolerances we very well catered for and every guest loved the food. We stayed at the cottages the night before our wedding and they are lovely. We stayed in Lambourne, which has beautiful views out to the coast and of the castle. It's a large cottage, idea for the bridal party! We had the most perfect wedding day here. I couldn't recommend the venue highly enough. Thank you Sue and the team and Lympne Castle.
Our wedding on 3rd December 2016 at St Stephens church (next door) and reception at the castle was absolutely perfect. Gareth simply could not have done more to help us both leading up to the wedding and on the day. He is an absolute asset to this establishment and my husband and I could never thank him enough for helping us to achieve our special day. The castle exudes medieval charm and romance, creating the perfect wintery wedding. The open fireplaces and decor provided a wonderful backdrop which I'm sure would fit in with most wedding themes. The food was delicious, home cooked and via silver service. The drink selection was more varied to what is usually on offer- a great selection of wine and reception drinks which our guests commented on. Compared to other local castles Lympne offers so much more for such a reasonable price. The exclusivity was a selling point and you really do feel like it's yours, even if it is just for the day. We had the most amazing wedding at Lympne Castle on Saturday. Sue and the whole brilliant team at Lympne went above and beyond at every step of the process and worked so hard to ensure our big day was everything we hoped it would be and much more. As a couple we are slightly last minute but Sue took each and every one of our somewhat unconventional requests for music or food in her stride and worked so hard to give us the day of our dreams. Thank you so much Sue and everyone at Lympne, you were amazing. It's the most beautiful venue, looking out over the sea with amazing big fireplaces and the fact that we had the castle to ourselves made the day feel magical. Highly recommended!
