Founded by Alfred Lea in 1889 A Lea Jewellers Aberdare is the oldest independent Jewellers in the Cynon Valley.
Alfred Lea was a watch and clock maker by trade and over the years built a quality, reputable business which he passed on to his son and daughter in-law Jeffrey and Muriel.
In 1975 A Lea Jewellers Aberdare was sold to Roger Scull. Roger has taken great pride in the rich heritage and reputation of the Alfred Lea name building on its enviable reputation for quality and service.in 1986 he took on a young apprentice, Stephen Jones, who in 2014, after Roger's retirement, purchased the business and has continued to the mantra of the Alfred lea and Roger Scull's reputation. Now looking forward to the future by bringing top quality jewellery brands to Aberdare.
