Helen is a Partner Member of The Alliance of Independent Authors and a corporate subscriber to the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP); she and her team have undertaken the SfEP's certified courses in proofreading and copy-editing. Helen oversees all aspects of publishing projects, ensuring high levels of author support, book design and project management. She is responsible for business development, events management, and SilverWood's use of social media.
(top centre) joined the SilverWood team in 2013 after graduating with a First Class honours in English and English Language. She has many years experience supporting clients in a retail setting. As well as managing a portfolio of SilverWood authors, Emily supports the publishing director and oversees the training of new publishing assistants. She ensures that high standards are maintained throughout SilverWood's book production process.
(bottom right) joined the SilverWood team in November 2017. She recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MA degree in French and Spanish, with a year spent in Toulouse and Almeria. In her final year she specialised in European and Latin American literature and film. She has a background in student journalism and bookselling (at Waterstones). Anna also has an interest in children's literature and has volunteered at the Bath Children's Literature Festival.
(BAHons Graphic Design) has over 25 years experience in Graphic Design which includes image development, typography, communication design and page layout. As co-director of SilverWood's sister company
Adrian has created brands for major financial institutions, educational establishments, galleries and events organisers. Since 2000 he has been developing cross-media brands for a variety of clients, including publishers and booksellers, with particular emphasis on internet branding and website design. With the Redwing team, Adrian oversees all areas of design, from book covers to author promotional materials.
