Affleck Electrical Ltd was founded in March 1998 by Andrew Affleck. Andy completed his apprenticeship is 1966 and since then has gained extensive knowledge in the electrical industry. He has spent the last 15 years building up the company from scratch to its present form.
The company started with just 1 employee, mainly carrying out domestic works, until Andy was joined by his son-in-law Nigel in 1999. Nigel completed his apprenticeship with the company and now oversees the running of the company. Although Andy has retired, his fervor for excellent service and ethos for a family run business that values its staff remain at the heart of Affleck.
In 2000 we moved into our premises on Greenbridge Rd, where we still operate from, and the company continued to grow. Over the next 10 years the business would become more commercially and industrially biased, gaining valuable experience and expanding our customer base to include major local manufacturers and businesses.
In 2009 we began Affleck Mechanical Services Ltd, a plumbing and heating company, which gives us facility to compete for M&E projects. Affleck Mechanical is headed by Kevin Gillman who has extensive technical knowledge. Operating from the same office as Affleck Electrical, this company has given us a new dimension of capabilities.
For the future at Affleck, we are always looking for new customers and new opportunities. By hard work and continuous improvement we hope to continue to strengthen and build on the success and reputation that Andy Affleck has established.
This was a new installation of all lighting and power services to Torin-Sifan’s new production building. We worked as main contractor on this project, bringing it in on time and to a very satisfactory standard for the customer.

Affleck Electrical Ltd is a Swindon based, regional market leading electrical contractor. Our range of works is both extensive and diverse, ranging from repeat commissions in large factories, through to single commissions for domestic fits and works on listed buildings.
We have now finished phase 2 of these beautiful barn conversions and are very happy with the end product.
This project involved the installation of power, lighting and air con services at Torin’s new production site at Pagoda Business Park, run by our Contracts Manager Chris Peter’s as main contractor. We have worked at Torin’s Greenbridge site numerous times over the past few and were please to be involved in getting up and running at their new site.
