ABOUT CARVERS & GILDERS LIMITED
Established in 1979, we are a skilled team specialising in fine woodcarving and gilding, committed to providing work of the highest quality. Our work covers the conservation and restoration of fine furniture, mirror frames, carved objects and decorative surfaces.
With our knowledge and experience of carving techniques, styles and surface decoration, we are also able to provide clients with ideas and designs for creating new commissions.
We welcome client involvement and communication, ensuring that design intentions, aesthetics, context and environment are all part of the decision making.
We are a Royal Warrant holder, and members of the Master Carvers Association, ICON and the Guild of Master Craftsmen.
We specialise in the conservation and restoration of fine woodcarving and gilding at our London workshop. We also take commissions to design and make new pieces in traditional and contemporary styles.
