The unusual aspect about Abbey Blinds and Shading is that we are not simply a blind and soft furnishing company supplying new products. We also provide a complete maintenance service which can involve the repair or cleaning of existing blinds, curtains and other soft furnishings in commercial interiors.

With over 20 years experience in the blind and soft furnishings industry we are able advise our clients on the various options available to meet their requirements, and deliver on time and to budget. We have a diverse client portfolio, which ranges from small businesses at one end, through Schools, Colleges and Universities, local Council’s and other public sector organisations, to Blue Chip/Corporate Companies at the other.

NEW PRODUCTS

We manufacture our own range of blinds, curtains and soft furnishings at our workshops in Surbiton. This enables us to be responsive when meeting tight ‘turnround’ deadlines or a specific ’bespoke’ requirement. We are also appointed agents for a number of brand name manufacturers such as Hunter Douglas (Luxaflex), Silent Gliss and Courtaulds..

Our workshop facilities provide a repair and cleaning service for blinds, curtains and soft furnishings. We are able to advise client’s on whether such a service would be a cost effective option and identify the appropriate course of action to be taken eg. should dry cleaning or ultra-sound cleaning treatments be employed. For larger companies we offer a programmed maintenance service, which includes an emergency call-out facility with a guaranteed 24 hour response time.
