In September 2001 Fenella Cook and Stephen Dolman formed Avalon Enterprise UK Ltd. With their individual professional knowledge, they shared an idealistic dream and turned it into an innovative reality in which they firmly believed to be a real step forward in offering alternative opportunities to disabled adults wanting to live independently in society.

Care Quality Commission
The latest Care Quality Commission Inspection found that Avalon Enterprise meets all CQC national standards. This means that people who use this service experience excellent quality outcomes.
The Company�s aim is to ensure that all of its employees, job applicants and Service Users are treated equally irrespective of disability, race, colour, religion, nationality, ethnic origin, age, sex or marital status. This policy sets out instructions that all employees are required to follow in order to ensure that this is achieved.
- The Company shall appoint, train, develop and promote on the basis of merit and ability.
- Employees have personal responsibility for the practical application of the Company�s Equal Opportunities Policy, which extends to members of the public and employees.
- Managers and supervisors who are involved in the recruitment, selection, promotion and training of employees have a special responsibility for the practical application of the Company�s Equal Opportunities Policy.
- If there is any doubt about inappropriate treatment under the Company�s Equal Opportunities Policy, employees should consult the Group Manager.
All complaints are recorded in the Company's Complaints Log.
