At the end of February 2014, Transwaste was taken over by Karl Butler, who brought over 23 years of experience in the UK Water Industry to the company. The aim of the company is to continue with the traditional contracts, but to also carry out specialist ‘in house’ contracting services. The company soon expanded into lagoon and tank cleaning and confined spaces work to meet an obvious need at the time, hiring in tankers and other plant to best meet the requirements of each project

Site Services Britain Ltd is the sister contracting division of Transwaste Ltd.
Site Services Britain Ltd was established in 2000 by Karl Butler and was set up to continue to service a main contracting company for all their filter refurbishment projects on all UK Water industry contracts & tank cleaning operations for a major UK Oil company (Exxon Mobil).
