Mandy joined the company in July 2015, however she has 14 years’ experience in service co-ordination and management. She controls the engineers with a rod of iron and they daren’t answer her back and that includes the boss!! Mandy was born in Wrexham and is proud of her Welsh roots. Her love of rugby leads to a lot of office banter, especially during the Six Nations!
Mary joined the company on a part-time basis in 2003 and until recently was the voice at the end of the phone. Her list of duties is too long and varied to detail here but apart from the day to day stuff Mary looks after the maintenance contracts, quotes, sources and orders parts and controls the company’s stock. Over the years Mary has become a valued member of our team and now works almost full-time (she occasionally gets Friday’s off for good behaviour)!
Chris has been with the company since 2007. As well as site refrigeration works he also carries out repairs and servicing on refrigerated vehicles and air conditioning installations. Chris is a very experienced refrigeration engineer and is F Gas Certified. Being a computer geek he also gets roped into sorting out minor problems on the computers for the girls in the office.
Affectionately known as ‘Little Tim’ to distinguish him from ‘Big Tim’, the boss. He started out as an apprentice with the company in 2008 and studied refrigeration and air conditioning at Bath College to gain his qualification. He is a fitness fanatic, plays football and enjoys running (even when it’s pouring with rain) Tim is also F Gas Certified.
Colin has been with the company since 1996. His primary role is to carry out maintenance on our customers’ equipment and he also assists the engineers with large installation works. His previous trade was a carpenter/joiner and utilises this experience by making condensing unit covers, amongst other things, for our customers. He also makes an excellent cup of tea!
My favourite part of the job is being told a customer is happy with a completed installation. I aim to be the best engineer I can possibly be and always strive to keep learning. My passion in life is cricket, during the season I play every weekend. I am also a groundsman and prepare the pitches and maintain the grounds. I carry that over to my home life and love making my garden smart and tidy. I live with my partner Rosie and our two cats Eric and Wilson.
