ABOUT MILITARY POCKET BOOKS LIMITED
Military Pocket Books was formally Cadet Publication (1981-1989), the Army Cadet Pocket Books was published and printed in 1981.
The late Major John Hobbis Harris (Rtd) (my father), founded Military Pocket Books in 1989 and produced another pocket book for the TA, this was known as The Volunteer's Pocket Book.
The Cadet Log Book (known as the little Green Book) provides a CCF and Army Cadets with a method of recording their own personal achievements, this was first published in 2001.
My father and I (I served in the regular army in the Royal Signals, for 12 years), wanted to extend our range of products, we produced a shooting gauge and protractor romer for map reading in both Mils and Degrees.
The Soldiers Pocket Book has been used by many service personnel and is still a very popular pocket book. We have extended our range, with the Sniper Pocket Book. We will be publishing further new pocket books, which will fit into our niche publishing market that is Military Pocket Books.
