We are a business which has been operating across Wales and the West for over 25 years, advising businesses and private clients.
Read here about our philosophy, our people and history to understand how we have built up an enviable reputation in the insurance industry and wider business circles.
Our Philosophy
The Prescott Jones philosophy is to combine a knowledgeable, professional service with a client focussed personal approach. Recruiting the very highest quality personnel, investing in structured training programmes and promoting the pursuit of industry-recognised qualifications are all vital to our success.
The emphasis that we place on staff development and the importance of personal relationships in business is evidenced by the fact that Prescott Jones enjoys an overall client retention rate of 97 per cent.
We invest heavily in developing relationships with our clients and understanding their business needs. When you have recruited the right people and invested in their development, it is then important that you allow them to provide independent advice.
We have been committed to the principle of independent advice for our 25 plus years in business. Free from investment from insurers and outside capital, we are free to provide impartial advice to our clients.
Prescott Jones was established in 1991 by Ed Prescott and Gareth Jones, who already had many years of experience with leading UK Insurers and were already well-established figures in the South Wales commercial insurance market.
Within a year, the firm had acquired a significant number of clients, increased staff numbers and moved to larger premises. In 2003 we had once again outgrown our premises and moved to our current offices in Caswell House.
In order to service our growing client base across the UK, Prescott Jones established a second office in Bristol in 1993. The office has gone from strength to strength and continues to develop and manage its own portfolio of clients, across a variety of industry sectors.
The Prescott Jones philosophy is to manage client relationships within a tight professional team of insurance experts.
An Account Executive will take overall management of the relationship with the client. Within his or her team, an Account Manager will be appointed to provide day to day administrative and technical support.
