ABOUT BRITANNIA FOOTWEAR (UK MANUFACTURING) LTD
Britannia Footwear was formed back in 2000 as a dance shoe company importing from our facility in India.
In 2010, Richard Swift, Director of Britannia Footwear, felt the time was right to look at resurrecting the UK’s shoe manufacturing industry. We invested in a Research and Development programme which culminated in the creation of an innovative shoe manufacturing process. Our team of seven passionate individuals set up the new manufacturing facility in Burnley, Lancashire in 2012 where production began back in the UK.
Britannia Footwear manufacturers own label and white label products in the UK, whilst continuing to import shoes predominantly for the dance and leisure industry.
We use top quality leathers and suedes from Italy and India to create superior products
We’ve over 20 years of experience in the shoe industry. With manufacturing facilities in the UK and India, we manufacture own label and white label products for export worldwide.
