Originally established circa 1992 by Jayne Knight, Knight Design Interiors first opened its doors nestled within the beautiful countryside at Wickham Bishops.
Knight Design Interiors have exhibited with pride at House and Garden Fair on numerous occasions and Elizabeth Perry is an Associate Member of the BIID.
Following Jayne's partial retirement in 2005, Elizabeth Perry relocated the Company to the pretty village of Stock, and more recently Chelmsford.
Excellent quality and craftsmanship and the ability to lend our hands to both contemporary and traditional style has enabled Knight Design Interiors to maintain an inimitable and enviable reputation in interior design.
Knight Design Interiors now has a beautiful new accessible home in the court yard within the grounds of Hylands Estate, Chelmsford. Recently being approved as a member of House and Garden's 'The List', Knight Design Interiors is now privileged to offer current fabric and wallpaper collections from design houses such as Colefax and Fowler, Mulberry, GP & J Baker, and more recently Liberty Home Fabric.
Elizabeth went on to work for Knight Design Interiors and was asked to design a room set for House and Garden Fair in 2001, titled 'New York' and inspired by the fashion designer Donna Karan.
Now Director and Owner at Knight Design Interiors, Elizabeth is inspired by quirky colour combinations and mixing the old with the new. Never shy of pattern and colour, Elizabeth can cleverly combine schemes to produce a stunning and timeless effect. William Yeoward, Nina Campbell and Mulberry Home are among Elizabeth's favourite brands to seek inspiration.
At Knight Design Interiors, we are fully qualified and experienced to assist you with any size project throughout Essex and London, residential or contract. Located within the beautiful and inspiring grounds of Hylands Estate, we hold an extensive designer fabric and wallpaper library which is continually updated with new launches and the latest designs.
We are experienced with all house styles and are sympathetic to period characteristics. Our portfolio includes traditional, contemporary, classic and eclectic styles and most recently have been able to include art and antique adviser to our repertoire. Your antique finds can be cleverly restored and reupholstered!
