Founded in 1999 by Jason Brown and Adrian Munn Monochrome Ltd was set up to meet the needs of companies wishing to build a digital strategy online. We are very lucky to have witnessed the birth and rapid expansion of the internet and played our part in evolving the company, adopting new technologies, design and development best practices to meet the needs of our customers.
Our team were one of the first companies in the UK to build Rich Internet Application using Adobe Flash and Adobe Flex the forerunners for today’s web applications. Our efforts brought us to the attention of Microsoft and enabled us to further expand our operations as a creative and digital partner within the Microsoft partner network. Our innovation and constant drive to push the barriers of technology and UI helped us to consult directly with Adobe in the UK and Microsoft in the US and UK.
In 2006, Monochrome acquired web development specialists Prismix Ltd and in 2013 appointed Simon Elgar as Chief Technical Officer to grow and manage of our software development team. Simon’s unrivalled experience and technical competency has helped to expand the company. Simon efforts and contribution to the business has not gone unnoticed and he joins the directors on managing the future grown in the UK and Overseas.
In 2012 Monochrome set up a strategic relationship in Hungary and continues with this venture today.
In 2017 we are pleased to announce the incorporation of Monochrome SBR a new operation in Serbia. Are rapidly growing team of highly talented technical staff work closely with our creative and technical team in the UK supporting a enterprise customers.
